Two friends recently bought SP8000s for their Miatas.  Both said the tires

were squirmy until about 500 miles.  Now they are much happier with the

tires than they were at first.  I haven't really pushed mine hard, but they

are already feeling better than the stock Bridgerocks.



The last two sets of D60 A2s I bought went through a period of unsure

handling for several hundred miles.  These 8000s don't seem as bad as they

did when new.



I don't have an explanation for the "mold release" effect.  Maybe it is all

in our heads!
