FWIW, when I first got my D60 A2s last year they were VERY squirrelly for the first 50 miles or so, even when driving in a straight line. I don't know if it was mold release or just that the tires didn't have a "bite" to them yet. Seems to me it could be that the new rubber is just too smooth and needs to be scuffed up a bit before it will stick to the road. After the first 50 or so miles I noticed a definite improvement in grip.
