I kinda like the existing signal to noise ratio: some of the noise can be just as fun as it is "pointless". Most of the diversions that arise from time to time provide intersting insights into what *can't* be called the mindshare of the collective; it underlines the fact, that while we may all have our differences, we can work under, around or over them to enjoy our little roadsters. It also provides more impetus for "smelling the roses" along the way, and more grist for my occassional Lincoln/Douglass diatribes. By the same token, I guess that's why I subscribe to Car & Driver rather than AutoWeek.
