Okay here's a nifty one..........



My car just turned over 134,000 miles. When it's stone cold....I start the

car. Right behind the passenger seat a mechanical fluttering noise occurs

for a few seconds then dies off.



No don't go anywhere. IT does this as I sit at idle and maybe for abit when

I just take off after a cold start.



When the car is all warmed up (about a minute or two later) and after a

good run, all is quiet. EVen when I start it up again.



I thought my muffler might have had somehting stuck into, but it's not

exhuast dependant. The fluttering noise is constant and mechanical.



Any ideas gang? My guess is the fuel pump is going dead but any other ideas

would be appreciated.
