Third time in four weeks my work van has been broken into over the

weekend at work, I have to laugh at this one, stole the broken pos radio

that was in it.  Between that and getting the top cut on my Miata one

weeknight before I got back...



I'd like to do something to scare the crap out of whoever is making a

career out of breaking into all the vans at work, unfortunately all of

the things I can think of would result in me going to jail <g>, to wit:



1) flash/bang (concussion grenade) booby trap (gotta love those

punctured eardurums)



2) one of those dye packs they put in bags they give to bank robbers. 

With my luck, it'd explode while they were still in my van and it'd be

bright yellow forever



3) smoke grenade ... unfortunately they tend to get REAL hot, would burn

up something



Anybody got any nonlethal suggestions?  I realize that sitting on top of

the building all weekend with a scoped rifle would solve the problem,

but I don't need a hariy cellmate named 'bubba' gennin' all friendly ...
