You're giving these vandals way too much credit.  You first have to

recognize the thing as a threat in order to be affected.  They'd probably

watch it bounce up, fall to the ground and lay there, whereupon they'd

utter something to the effect of fut the wuk?  And go back to ripping apart

your panel to get the radio out.



Now if the first few of your little devices were actually /live/, a

learning opportunity would be available to the survivors and the word would

likely spread rapidly.  Unfortunately that falls back into the "but it's a

felony" category.  The hazards of success.
