I heard that the Canadian guages are in Kg/cm2 which is a real hodge-podge. Pressure has units of force/area. Kg is mass. The English system often makes the mistake of using a force unit (lb) to indicate mass (slug) but this is the first time I've seen an instance of using a mass unit (kg) to indicate a force (newton). No doubt they mean the force of gravity upon a 1 kg mass. (1 newton - 1kg* 1m/sec2) The REAL unit to use is the Pascal ( = 1newton/m2) which is a very small pressure. KiloPascals would be more appropriate. Lester Welch 97R "LadyBug" PhRedd, Md. Plate "YNG AGN" Team: Real-Oil-Guage and proper trunk springs.
