Take the car out of gear, get behind the car, put both your hands on it, lean forward and push the car as you run as fast as you can. When you get up to speed, stop to take a breath and look where the car is going. When you see it headed for the river get your adrenalin up and run like hell to catch up to the car and jump in. Once in, push in the clutch, put the car in 1st gear and then let the clutch out fast. The car will then push the engine to trun it over and it'll start (unless you're already in the river). Other variation of this method may be more effective -- esp. one that uses two people, one in the car and another pushing. If you're on a hill, you don't need the pusher person, and the river part is always optional. -- Jeff Anderson @ @ @ @ @@@@@ @ Arlington, VA @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ 91 Silver, 92 Blue @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ MCA, Capital Chapter @ @ @ @ @ @ @ @ M Club #97 1) I CURE THE MIATA'S BAD HEAD REST SOUND. =========== re mid-96 and older =========== 2) Miata special high performance ANTENNA SPLITTER for CB use too.
