Subject: Moss Trunk Light

Well, I still don't have my MCA magazine, but yesterday's mail did bring

the trunk light I ordered from Moss in July.



I'd heard from several sources that the problem was a supply issue for the

switches. This annoyed me because I will probably use Al R.'s

roller-microswitch idea rather than the push-switch that Moss provided.



The truly frightening part of the rumor was that Moss was going to get the

switches from Lucas.



All of those who feared invoking the Prince of Darkness for something as

trivial as a trunk light may rest easy. The switch is made by Linread, not

Lucas.



Of course, this arrives the day _after_ I drop off my car to have the

clutch replaced, and I'll be overseas for two weeks starting tomorrow. Oh

well, I'd rather deal with Murphy than Lucas. ;)
