Well, it's _engine_ speed sensitive, so I think it's all mechanical. The

only electrical connection (at least on a '90) is a pressure switch that's

an input to the ECU.



How Reijo's trick of pulling the pressure switch helps is beyond me. As for

lowering the assist, that's a mechanical problem. I think Jyri had it

right, go for a mechanical rack.
