Subject: Fun at SF Auto Show

I asked the people at the Mazda area where the '99 was, and they said it

was debuting at the LA Auto Show at the beginning of January.



Well, even though they didn't have a '99 Miata, it was fun seeing the

looks on their faces when I said offhandedly that I'd driven one last

week.  :D  It was even more fun being able to tell them all about it and

answer their questions.  They even gave me one of their classy new

whale-tail logo pins which I'll be showing off at the Dec. 10 BAMA

social, and I gave them the Miata.net web address.



Jeannie, who then went on a "date" with hubby for steak and lobster

and Wendy, who had to sit in a nasty rainstorm :(
