Thought that I would share a great experience with all of you. Went to school in Hawthorn, NY last night. The trip home was fantastic. It was about 30 degrees F out. Very dry and crisp. No one on the road (9:30 PM?!?). On the NY throughway the car had tremendous pull! Every 1/2 inch of pedal travel provided more forward thrust! I would slow down to 40, then nail it until 70 -75 MPH in 4th gear! I know the Voodoo adds about 5% to the torque rating, but this thing really pulled surprisingly well. Then came time to exit onto the Garden State Parkway. The exit ramp is a constant radius turn with two wide lanes and two wide shoulders. Plenty of room. I approached the turn at 55 MPH, and exited at around 75 (?). Throughout the turn, I could literally feel that the cornering force was equally distributed between the front and rear tires! Big difference compared to the FWD / understeer prone cars I had previously (82 Accord, 89 Prelude SI, 93 Probe GT) What a terrific experience. It seems tame on this post here, but I really had a wild time! I sure would love to drive a Miata with a trick induction / exhaust, but I really am happy with the pure stock setup of the car. -Lou / Baron
