Hi folks - now, that the frames are available for US sized frames, I wondered why there's nothing for european sized ones. I asked Gary if he will also offer a plate frame for europen cars and he answered that he won't because of the high number he had to oerder from the manufacturer - BUT, he said, that it would be fine if I could manage the 'oversea part'. So, here comes my part: I contacted some frames manufacturer. The best impression in quality and valuability is one near Stuttgart. The offer: (x) Black plastic licence plate frame. Design: There is a white printed frame around, because of DIN (Deutsche Industrie Norm) and both the logo -miata.net- and the saying -Have you hugged a curve today?- are printed on the lower border of the frame. (x) Silver licence frame. Design: The words are not printed on, but engraved! So the letters are black. Style of the frames is (miata.net logo will be in the correct style, of course) /-------------------------------------------------\ | | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------------------------------------------| | miata.net have you hugged a curve today ? | \-------------------------------------------------/ The more Miatae join the frame the less will be the costs. The black ones get cheaper about each 100, the silver ones about each 10. So, here are the costs per piece for BLACK 001-100 DM 9 - US $ 5 101-199 DM 7 - US $ 4 200-500 DM 5 - US $ 3 SILVER (Which I will have soon...) 01-05 DM 21 - US $ 12 06-10 DM 14 - US $ 8 11-20 DM 10 - US $ 6 21-50 DM 9 - US $ 5 p&p for one or two frames Germany DM 7 Europe DM 12 - US $ 7 States, Canada DM 15 - US $ 9 Time to deliver: BLACK Production- up to two months Posting- up to two weeks SILVER Production- up to two weeks Posting- up to two weeks FINALLY: If you are interested in having an <original> miata.net licence plate frame, email me.
