Brian, Wait until after Jan. 1st and then contact the SCCA (I assume you're already a member? If not, join!) and request copies of the GCR and the IT Rule Book. (New 1998 books are due out first of Jan.) The GCR covers the generalities of the rules and the IT book will be "the bible" for car preparation allowances/specs. Don't get last year's copy now, since (usually) rules do change, and unless it's in the current year rules, it ain't allowed. <g> Books should run you about $9~10 ea. from the SCCA. Regards, Doc
