I've adjusted doors on other cars but not the miata.  (I have a lot of

friends with GM cars.  Nomex! Quick!) 

It is essential to determine in advance how far, and in what direction, the

changes must be.  

Write the measurements down if you're old like me.  

Draw all the way around the striker in a fine mechanical pencil.   

Loosen the striker.  I don't remember if it's phillips or torx...  

Then you can move the striker correctly.  



Close the door VERY slowly the first time to be sure it doesn't hit it an

unexpected way.



The pencil marks just wipe off when you're done.
