In case anybody is interested, there are "generic" Dynamat materials

sold that supposedly work well, but are a lot cheaper.  I haven't

tried either of these personally, but have heard of people who have w/

good results.



One such material is called Sound Deadener Pad from MCM Electronics in

Ohio. It costs $1.25 to $1.50 per square foot instead of the $3.50 to

$5.50 of the Dynamat.  The 29"x32" pad is part no. 60-2015; $7.99 ea.
