Helmut, First, welcome to the list. I've been on this list for about three years or so and, personally, will never voluntarily unsubscribe. As a couple of other folks have mentioned, this list is unique in its warmth and sense of family. I've met a number of list members in person, and they've turned out to be great people. Others, I feel that I've gotten to know and care about through their postings. Another poster has eloquently described the list community as a true Dickensian village! I subscribe to a number of other mailing lists, including auto-related lists and none of them even remotely approach the sense of comfort and community this lists projects. They are all cold and dry, with an endless procession of problems, with no human connection. I don't doubt that this might be appealing to some, but the Miata list is different and I really like it, in no small part for the humor and personal stories of its members. Just use that NMC tag! There is tons of technical data available as well, just check the archives and the Garage section on Miata.net. These resources and the technical knoweledge of the folks here has solved many of my technical problems. Regards, Oleg '93B Mariner Blue Autorotor
