I used my favorite mounting hardware (aluminum sheets) fabricated to mount the module on some nearby existing screws. No drilling required and the modification is 100% reversible and totally hidden by the factory-carpeted plastic cover. The module is 100% reliable, and can give more than enough force to open the trunk latch.<< Chris, I did exactly the same thing to my Miata about 6 years ago, using a junkyard RX-7 actuator. It was fun to do and works great. I then ran a wire from the extra remote on my Ungo security system and can open my trunk with my key-fob controller (through a relay, of course.) Bill Allen
