Perhaps if newbies received their fist load of miata mail in daily digest

form preceded by the "instruction manual" they would be less likely to

panic upon checking their mail (and toss the instuctions).  They could then

try out their "list abilities" to swich to ack if they like.  If they've

never subscribed to a list before, 100+ letters in their in box could be a

little intimidating.



..But then again maybe they're just dense
