Hi all, I am currently running a B6ZE (1.6L) engine with FM ECU and turbo. I envied ( jealous, actually) Shiv's 300 HP figure. I started to think that I am approaching a declining efficiency if I am still trying to improve my 1.6L when there's a solid example of a longer stroke can do. I have access to several BPZE (1.8L) engine block and was wondering if I can perfectly mount the B6 head on the BP block. This way I can have a 1.8L engine and still keep my FM ECU and other mod. Is this a direct swap? What other things should I do to my engine while it dissemble beside the normal overhaul. How much will port and polish help? Shot peen rod? I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. I am deciding to go with the 1.8L or just put in the 13B-REW that I have sitting in my possession. I would rather keep the piston engine but if I couldn't get any more out of my existing engine then? TIA PP
