I don't have a set, but I've both examined European cars (that have a similar light as OEM) and goofed around with North American ones to have an idea. They won't increase your visibility much at the front. That reflector in the lens works best at about a 45 degree angle to the front of the car. I'm not sure what power bulb comes with the kit, but the European ones are too feeble to actually add to your safety margin. If you drop in a stronger bulb (without melting your lenses, which is a possibility), you'll be more visible. Not enough to guarantee that the truckers will point you out to their friends, but it's a cheap way to give yourself more peace of mind :) Side and off-angle views will benefit the most. I've always considered stripes to be a safety item. It makes your car stand out in traffic - and if you're noticed, you're safer than someone who isn't noticed. Right, Axel? :) Keith ------------ Keith's page de home: http://www.miata.net/keith ------------
