I've had real good results with Rockford PWR64s' in the door and Rockford 14X tweeters in the aircon vents. My head unit is a Clarion DRX8175. I have 2 10" JL Audio 10W6 subs mounted on the rear deck in a sealed enclosure. The bass is incredible. The subs are powered by a Rockford 200X2 amp polking out 200 watts RMS per channel into each sub. The headrests are Clearwater HR speakers powered by an Alpine MRV-F400 amp which also power the Rockford fronts. The great thing about the JL W6 subs is that they only require 0.40 - 0.90 vol for a sealed enclosure. They are rated at 300W RMS each. The only problem with this setup is for tall people. The seats can't be moved all the way back. I'm 1.78m tall and this is fine for me though. Of course I could have used 8" subs but IMHO they're not enough for the type of music I play. I listen mainly to trance, progressive house, & techno so I want to hear and FEEL the bass. Of course I haven't entered any competitions.. I just like music... and I like it LOUD :) If anyone is interested I can send pics of the installation.
