Unbelievable.



This morning I picked up the car from the body shop.  The paint is perfect!

 The scratch and ding are history!.  The hood scoop came out great!  Wow. 

They even washed the car inside and out.  Neat.

It was a sunny morning too so I ran errands top down.  This is the second

time the car has been out since December (this is Iowa).  The car is only

out of storage long enough to have paint done.



Went to show it to a driving instructor in the Porsche club but he was

talking to a customer. He's been wanting to see the turbo.  Went back out

to the car and had a note on the windshield from a guy selling a hardtop

for $200!  He was about 50 yds away and yelled to me.  He owns a miata and

has 2 tops.  It turns out its a YELLOW top!  Factory original in perfect

condition.  We go to the ATM and I go to his house (in another town).  It's

all true.



Then I got back to town, talked to the Porsche guy, went to see another

miata club member to give him a model of his Corvette Grand Sport.  He

gives me a Dremel tool 'cause he had one laying around from work he did for

the Dremel company.

What a great day!
