When mine was running bad I pulled all the plugs (so it would turn over easier) and used a spare plug with alligator clip. Set the plug up where you can see it. Crank the engine. Mine had very weak spark to 2 cylinders. The coils were good. After going through the enthusiast manual for a whole week of troubleshooting it turned out to be an igniter. As Bill Cardell sugested, I found a club member willing to try my igniter in his car. Isolated the problem immediately. Bill is a god. Well it got me thinking again.. If the fuel pressure is good | then perhapse the spark is weak. I have just replaced the original plug wires | with NGK blues 5 or 6K miles ago. Here is my stupid question of the day: since | there is no distributer where would you check for weak spark? IE leaving | unburned fuel, only firing in 2 or 3 cylinders..Help! | | Thanks, | Mark
