I think it would be wise to install a relay to handle the higher current of the Cadillac horns. I went to a junk yard a few months ago to see if I could get a used Caddy horn. I must have checked out 50 Caddys and none of them had a horn. I think these must wear out and all those in the junkyard have been sold quickly. The yard guy didn't have them stashed away in the shop either. I tried an electric Hella and although louder than the stock horn, was still not loud and low enough for me. I recently installed a set of the Hella air horns from PBC on my new Civic and although they are mauch louder than the stock horn, they are too high pitched for my taste. Wonder what a new Caddy horn would cost and if they are available for early cars. I'd love to have the pair from my old '67 Eldorado. Made people think an ocean liner was about to appear out of the fog and slice them in two. Skip Cannon
