These are made in Germany. At about $139 each in 15x7 size, they are probably the least expensive wheels that are still of good quality. They are not extremely light weight, I'd estimate 17 or 18 pounds each, but that's not so bad, and I didn't notice any degradation in handling or acceleration when I switched to the 15x7 size. I use 195/50-ZR15 Bridgestone RE-71s with my Borbets and think it is a pretty good combo. I've seen a lot of Miatae with these wheels, so they are not terribly unique, but they sure do look nice on the Miata. The other wheel I have experience with on the Miata is the OZ Mito which is probably a little better in quality than the Borbets, but AFAIK, are no longer available in a 15 inch size, and may not be available in any size. >From Tire Rack, a set of 15x7 Borbets with 4 RE-71s will run you about $850, plus shipping.
