One other tip...if for some reason you can't get your car inspected before the

deadline (for what ever reason including inability to get all the "illegal"

modifications off in time) be sure to go and pay the DMV "tax" anyway..  This

will avoid the rather steep penalties which come with procrastination.  Your

car will not be registered... apparently they don't care about that...only the

money, but you will have saved yourself some big $$$.  BTDT.
