Well, not my family, but my best friend, Alfred...

He is a mechanic down here in Houston, and he fixes my rides for me (I have a
bunch, so it helps...)

Anyway, I was going 2 pick up my MR2 from him today, and dropping off my '91
Miata for him 2 do a brake job & adjust the clutch he just redid. I came
around to his garage door, and what do I see, BUT a '93 Black/Tan leather
Miata! WITH HIS NAME ON THE PAPER TAG!

I was like, "cool!" I have been swearin' up and down to all of my friends for
YEARS that the Miata is one great car for driving. My 1st one was a '90 White
that I sold 2 another friend back in '94, because I had just bought a Subaru
SVX. A great car (still my baby) BUT I missed the Miata's fun so much that 3
months later I bought my current '91 Silver. 

Anyway, my friend is www.impaired.can't    :-)    , so he cannot join us. BUT,
I have & will keep him informed...

NOW FOR THE QUESTION :

Didn't Mazda make a few little changes for the '93 Model year? I seem 2
remember the engine being tweaked a little, and the addition of a remote trunk
release. (But I MAINLY want 2 know if he can whup my ass in a sprint!)
