Greetings Road Warriors..

Did a little tinkering yesterday and added a bottle. Lot of thought into
using a wet or dry system and opted for the dry. Was aiming for a totally
hidden installation except that bottle had to be disguised as a duffle bag.
The nozzle was mounted behind the intercooler and about 6" from the
throttle body.

My question is if this is the optimal location, or would I be better off
with a location pointed into the throat of the air intake to let it cool
down the turbo a little? Thinking air distribution would be better
passing thru the turbo. Is this significant ? Am aware there are a lot of
Miatas out there running with NOS, but they seem to rarely post on the net
. or did I miss them ??

The ride: Never expected to get pushed back in the seat so much using the
35 HP rated nozzle. Am guessing it was the torque. On a trial run on the
interstate, was traveling at about 65 MPH and wanted to pass the car in
front of me. Punched it..got the turbo push..hit the switch..got shoved
back again. In short was going nearly 115 when I passed the car. One
problem. Felt the clutch slip. Have nearly 97K miles now on the original
clutch. Dont think the clutch is bad yet..had the same problem over 30K
ago when the turbo spiked at 15 lbs.

Got a handfull of nozzles rated from "Wimp" clear to "Oh Sh*t". Will try
the 20 HP rated nozzle and see if the clutch still slips. If that works
OK, will take to dragstrip Thursday night. Still believe in measurable
results rather than seat of the pants feeling. Getting aggrevated as I
cant seem to break the 100 MPH mark in the 1/4 mile. Think this is gonna
fix it.

Am an Electronics Engineer and not an Automotive Engineer. Thinking am the
only person in area with forced induction or NOS on Miata. Don't have
anyone to share experience with. Still like to tinker, so If ya see a dead
blue Bug-Eye along the road...wave hello... it's me!
