<< I'd like to see a more CONSTRUCTIVE nature taken on by this maelstrom.
Harness the energy and thoughts to bring about some change. >>

.you're being too academic my friend.... the question is simple... and until
we have an answer to that question, providing MCA with all the alternatives is
a complete waste of time. And, I feel that should they respond positively
(see below) that they, the revenue makers owe it to the club to learn and
discover ways to expand...it's not my job to pay money and do the work... open
communication, ideas, feedback, yes.... but not do all the research for them.
Do stockholders do product and marketing research for a company? Heck, that
part is already available... just review what a couple of great clubs like the
BMW and Porsche clubs do already and if they can improve on that ...
wonderful! When MCA agrees to expand its horizons....then is the time for
nailing down the particulars. If they have no interest in being other than
a publisher and distributor of newsletters... that's something we need to
know.

I believe your cart before the horse approach is what's getting you not
ignored but mildly disagreed with.

THE QUESTION:

***Will the existing, Mazda approved, single-source MCA with all its national
status and excellent web of national and international locals.... consider
expanding its current horizons and become more of a "car" club, specifically,
along the lines of the BMW or Porsche Club of America? There are many MCA
members who are ready to pay extra (PCA national dues are $36) and move ahead
to that type of organization. And, I believe that even those who are happy
with the status quo will come on board when they see all the things an
organized "car club" can do for its members in addition to a wonderful
magazine.***
