Way back in 1991, when I had leather installed, the upholstery shop that
did the installation had to trash the hex on one of those bolts, which
someone at the factory had apparently Loc-Tited, to remove the passenger
seat. On the way home, I stopped at two dealerships, trying to get another
one. The first one didn't have one, although he could have ordered it; the
second one actually had the bolt in stock. I was amazed but pleased. I
wonder how many of THEM they sell in a year.
Anyway, you can buy a single seat hold-down bolt, at least you could seven
years ago. Be prepared to have to order it, though.
