Visited my hometown in upstate SC over the weekend.  The local dealer has two
'99s on the lot - for sale!  A red base model (which I test drove) and an
Emerald Mica popular eqp. package on the showroom floor.  The salesman tried
his best to get me to take the Emerald Mica home with me...very tempting.  

Actually, I was shocked to even find them there given that my hometown is a
relatively small town and the dealership here in Columbia SC doesn't even seem
to know a '99 model exists. (LOL)

I will admit, I was getting tired of all the '99 talk until the test drive.
What an awesome car!
