Miata Mailing List: March 1998, Message #3

Hi Norm,

I have been a MCA member for 4-1/2 years.  Two years ago I attened one of the
Miata Performance Driving Schools organized by Steve Wiley.  This past January
I attened a driving school organized by the Porsche Club of America (PCA).  At
both events I leared a great deal about car control and enjoyed drving my car
closer to its limits.

Could MCA organize such an event for its members?  I have copied the Miata
Mailing list to see if other Miata enthusiests agree with me.  I enjoy running
with the PCA people but I would rather run with a group of Miatas (I will not
get help up in the corrers as much  :^).

Seriously,  This would be a great function for MCA members.  The roads are
full of people who do not know how to drive.  Giving the opportunity for Miata
drivers to increase their driving skills would be benificial to all of us.

Per your post, I would enjoy talking to you about this.  You will probably
receive a few calls early this week so I will wait a few days.  You can expect
a call from me on this subject by the end of this week.
