Well, I suppose you could look at it that way. As you know, the M1 didn't
have one. The M2 shouldn't have either, by comparison to what they did.
They could have saved the $2 in tooling (or whatever it cost) and instead
done something else with the money. Like a one-touch power window switch.

The aftermarket will come to the aid of the cup-holder-impaired. :)
