Officer Sir,

I want to thank you heartily for singling me out of a line of 20 some-odd
cars traveling at the same speed and road and conditions as me for arrest.

I want to heartily thank you for creating fear in me.

I want to thank you for wasting my time and my tax dollars selectively
enforcing laws that you don't follow yourself.

I want to thank you for treating me with respect.

I want to thank you for not gettting off on your power over me (provided
for with a gun, mace, a nightstick and flashing lights on your, oh so
pretty, police cruiser.

I want to thank you for writing me a speeding ticket that represents
thousands of dollars of insurance increases over the next few years, points
on my license

Most of all I want to thank you for not beating me, throwing me in cuffs,
sodomizing me with your nightstick or shooting me.

you are so kind not to brutalize me (this time) that you truely are the
very best example of humanity.
