Lee,
Gabriel has been around for a long time. My not so humble opinion is that
they are about on a par with Monroe; good enough for the family wagon but a
Miata deserves better. Of course, YMMV depending on how you use your Miata
and what kind of performance you expect from your suspension. If you want
better than stock performance form your Miata I don't think you'll get it
from Gabriel. OTOH, any new shocks are going to feel great compared to tired
old OEM units.
BTW, shock questions are one of the favorites on the list so an archive
search at miata.net should provide more info than you ever could want.
