OK, no condoning from me either, but you forgot to ask Matt what lead 
to the bloody nose (and worse).  Hint - he wasn't exactly polite... 
search the archives for "may you rot in hell, you f***ing pig" for 
the entire story.

It is horrible that you can be assaulted by an officer for saying 
something that offends them.
