Thanks for the advice.
All I really need to do is power up the OEM switch illumination. I've
got my lights so they can be turned on or off independantly from the
headlights. I draw power from the blue power connector. It seems the
easiest way to get switch illumination is to tap into the existing
defroster wiring, specifically, the red/black switch illumination
wire.
At this point I am leaning toward a plastic wire tap splice connector.
Another approach might be spade connectors, using the appropriate
genders as required.
Any other splicing ideas?
