Ok, here are the results to the recent Koni Poll I posted to the list.
..and here is the original poll message I posted (so that it makes
sense...)

<

THOSE THAT CURRENTLY HAVE KONI'S:

Years Miles Opinion
2.5 15k happy with them
5-6 ? happy with them - and were purchased used for 1-2 years
3 30k happy but feel the adjustment is a pain
4 24k happy with them
? 70k happy with them
0.5 ? happy with them
2.5 40k happy with them
2 10k happy with them, also using SPAX springs

THOSE THAT HAD KONI'S:

Years Miles Opinion
? 50k Very happy, car was sold... shocks were still good at 50k miles.
Bought Koni's for new car.

ALSO: I stand corrected about the warranty issue on Koni's. Koni's DO
carry a lifetime warranty according to a few responses I received.

Interestingly, of those who responded, no one was significantly unhappy
with the Koni's. I know I've heard of somebody mention somewhere that
their "new" Koni's failed and had to be rebuilt after a short amount of
mileage, but this information was not reflected in the poll. I only had 9
responses, but that's enough to convince me that the Koni's aren't "bad".
This says nothing about any other brand, but does indicate that there are
satisfied Koni owners on this list.
