If Colorado is anything like Florida then yeah he did you a favor by
writing you up for less than you were actually doing....Fine & points
wise.   No, I don't think you'll find this cop in hell.   He could have
written
the ticket for the full amount & cost you more.   If this had happened to
me, here in Florida, I would have just accepted the fact that I was guilty
& said "Thank you for saving me some money. Have a nice day, Officer".
Because the Cop does his job & catches you breaking the law, writes
you a ticket for less than he could have, you think he's an @$$hole?
Get real!
