PJ,
I think that the run-flats require a pressure monitoring system to be
installed, otherwise you may not know that they have been punctured. I don't
know what that would require on the Miata, but I bet it ain't cheap. I do,
however, love the idea of getting rid of the spare and removing the chance
of a blowout (had one on the Pa Turnpike at 75mph and it was no fun at all).
Please keep us informed if you go to these tires. I, for one, am interested.
