Yeowch! I wouldn't trade places with you, but I'm glad you're still with us.
Your experience is a good illustration of what we've been discussing---the
"trade-off" of certain types or severities of injuries in airbag deployments.

Also noted your follow-up post about not wanting to disconnect the airbags in
your next car---your wish is partially granted, as the '99s have the newer,
less-powerful airbag. Anyone know if it is smaller than the old one as well?
