Well, I don't think pretensioners and force limiters are mandated by the
gummint, but the automakers are going to be including them as standard
equipment. I don't know how this applies to Mazda, but every new Toyota
Camry and Corolla (and maybe other models) already have them. No choice.
(Not that I'd ever buy a Camry!)
