I'm looking for a manual steering rack for my '90. I've yet to call
MazdaMart but intend to do so shortly as well as poke through a few local
junkyards..

Would it be a bad thing to use the power rack, manually? (disable and plug
the pump?) I was thinking I might like the shorter-ratio rack w/o the power
assist..

What should I be looking for to select a good steering rack? How much is a
new manual steering rack?

BTW, I'll have a power steering rack and accessories available after I
aquire and install a manual. Anyone interested?
