One of the letters in the MCA MAILBOX (98-II issue) concerned driving lights
advertised in "Miata Magazine" that do not meet NHTSA standards.

I am very interested in the driving lights.  I also ride a bike (Harley) the
use of driving lights (daytime) are so important on a bike that their use is
required by law in most states.  I am a firm believer in driving lights but
would certainly want them to meet whatever standards that are necessary.

Anyone have any knowledge of the requirements that these lights should meet.
