**** "Real world situation" or not (although I am not quite sure what that
means), it is, last I looked, a *real sport*.

**** One does not need to be a "Winner" to enjoy the drags... We had a ball
years back running a GMC 6 in a 37 Chevy Sedan. Plain Jane G-Gas. No, we did
not take on Don Garlitz! LOL

**** "Most of us" (Miata owners) are prolly not concerned about autocrosses,
nor street schools, nor forced induction, nor racing.... etc... which proves
absolutely nothing as far as those of us who are gearheads.

**** No need to run down the other guy's sport to enjoy one's own.
