| Subject: | Help, water in sub floor |
| Date: | Mon, 4 May 1998 11:40:51 +0000 |
I have a 90A with an unusual problem. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.
It seems I have a large amount of water below the passenger side floor.
I can't seem to locate exactly where it is but when I stop or accelerate
it sounds like I have a small bathtub full of water down there. I can't
seem to figure out where the water is, how it got in there, or how to get
it out (main priority now).
I have a small tear in the "B-pillar" area of the top. Been there a
while and I've never had this problem before. Problem occurred after a
heavy overnight storm. I found a plug under the rocker panel. Pushed
the plug in and a small amount (1 pint or so) of water came out. Not
near the mother load that is still in there though.
One other weird symptom, if I accelerate in a left and turn and then
brake, water comes down from behind the glove box and drips in the
passenger footwell area.
Thanks,
Ryles
