Well, I'm still looking for a good tire to put on my new rims. I have
a question about the SX GT's. I was considering getting them in a
215/45/15, but wondered how they handled in the rain. I would
sacrifice a little dry grip for some (I did say "some" ;) ) good grip
in the rain. Here's where people start talking about the RE-71s, but
I heard that once they start to wear a little, they suck in the rain
from a guy in the local Miata chapter. A friend of mine just put some
Toyo U1's on his Miata, but as far as they go I've only heard people
talk about the T1's. He says they are excellent in the rain. I found
a place that sells the U1's for about $89.00 each (205/50/15). Even
with mounting and balencing the U1's would come out cheaper than the
Mich Pilots. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks....
