And then throw out (PC phrase - dispose of properly) what is left of the new
stuff in addition to the old when you are done.  Once opened, even tightly
capped bottles will absorb moisture from the air.  If you need to top up
later, buy a new pint.

After you have gone through the trouble of bleeding your brakes, why put in
fluid later that has absorbed water.
