Same prob on my '90. My cab & trunk carry this faint smell after sitting
overnight.
I know the fuel tank is pressurized and I believe the fuel vapor is
squeezing out of SOMEWHERE.

I've pulled the top cover plate inside and found 2 gaskets, 4 hoses, and 7
clamps
that could be suspect. Not to mention the fill tube, vent tube, overflow
tube and
associated clamps.

I'd really like to find this as a may be getting flammable clothing for my
long haul to Sears Point.
Anyone know if a likely suspect before I replace everything ?
